JRISA is an open-access journal. Published articles are made freely available online without subscription barriers. Readers may access and download published articles without creating an account or paying a reading fee. The journal supports broad dissemination of scholarly work and believes that research should be accessible to researchers, students, educators, and the public.

Copyright remains with the author(s). Articles published by the Journal of Research and Innovation for Societal Advancement are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License unless otherwise stated. This license permits sharing and adaptation of the work for any purpose provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.
Publication schedule
JRISA publishes two issues per year. Accepted manuscripts may be published online on a rolling basis and subsequently assigned to the current issue.

If publication volume increases substantially, the journal may revise its publication frequency. Changes will be publicly announced.
Publication fees
There is no fee to submit a manuscript. An Article Processing Charge applies only after acceptance. See Publication Fees.
